Anton was born in Zelenograd, Russia. He traveled extensively across Russia, forming his own sense of national traditions. ‘Astrakhan is almost as much different from Norilsk, as is Greece from Greenland. Russian nature is outstandingly diverse, which means that Russian designs should follow.’
Anton graduated from the University of Electronic Technology (MIET) with a degree in ‘industrial design’. During his studies he reached two conclusive visions: a product’s appearance is a tool, whereby enabling the designer to affect different feelings for its user and secondly is that Russian consumers are not troubled by the absence of comfort and innovation. Therefore, Russian traditions should be combined with European quality and the Asian passion for innovations. At lllooch, Anton hopes to design products with his conclusions in mind.
